Our Orchestra
A community of talented young musicians dedicated to excellence
The Youth Orchestra of the D. Raziel Youth Village was founded on September 1, 2018. It brings together young performers on string, wind, percussion and keyboard instruments — students who came to Israel from more than 10 countries alongside long-time residents. Over seven years the orchestra has given more than 250 concerts, staged the musicals 'Fiddler on the Roof' and 'Kazablan', performed works by Gershwin and Bernstein, and won first prizes at international competitions including Am Israel Hay (Israel), Wind Stars (Latvia) and Golden Time Talent (London).
Our Conductor
Since founding the orchestra in 2018, Dr. Lev Arshtein has served as its permanent conductor and music director, shaping its artistic direction and nurturing a new generation of musicians with dedication and vision.
Driven by Dr. Lev Arshtein's initiative, the orchestra emerged as a platform where young talent could experience the discipline and inspiration of professional ensemble work, rooted in musical tradition.
Each performance under his baton reflects a deep commitment to excellence, blending timeless classics with modern interpretations to create moving and memorable musical journeys.
